Salary: £47,566pa

The Role
As the Lead Maintenance Coordinator, you will be integral to the production line team, serving as the primary Maintenance Engineer for your designated area. You will collaborate with a management team consisting of a Process Lead, Maintenance Lead, and Line Lead.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing specific processes within your area to minimize maintenance-related costs and equipment downtime. As part of the management team, you will analyze losses, formulate action plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be invaluable as you engage in various projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage Daily Maintenance (DM) planning and scheduling for production lines.
  • Foster a proactive health and safety culture by addressing unsafe practices.
  • Assess and prioritize reported incidents from the previous 24 hours.
  • Organize maintenance and repair tasks for the upcoming 24 hours, ensuring completion during scheduled downtimes.
  • Provide updates during Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings regarding upcoming Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities.
  • Ensure all overdue work orders are updated, classified, and processed according to urgency and priority.
  • Lead the scheduling of maintenance work for the upcoming week during weekly maintenance meetings.
  • Manage the budget effectively to ensure repair costs are controlled.
  • Prepare schedules for monthly maintenance activities as outlined in the annual maintenance plan.
  • Update and maintain technical documentation.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of the annual maintenance plan.
