We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Patient Pathway Coordinator to join our team at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Vascular Surgery Directorate, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and providing administrative support to our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and maintain accurate and timely patient data, ensuring compliance with national referral to treatment timescales.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, and documentation, utilizing Medtech recording systems.
- Provide updates on patient pathways, ensuring all MDT outcomes are acted upon.
- Communicate with patients, relatives, and carers, utilizing standard letters and protocols.
- Validate waiting lists and reports, booking theatre lists as required.
We are looking for an individual with excellent organizational skills, IT expertise, and strong communication skills. Previous experience in a clinical or administrative role is essential, with a basic understanding of clinical governance and risk management principles.
Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize workload, you will be a flexible and approachable team player. Basic IT skills, typing skills, and a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or relevant experience are also required.
