Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and Complex Care ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and evaluate holistic care plans for children in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in audits or quality improvement projects to enhance the care provided.
  • Support and mentor junior nurses, using your extensive clinical knowledge to guide and support them.
  • Step up to lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse.
Requirements
  • NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support.
  • Experience in Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care needs.
  • Experience with tracheostomised patients (desirable).
  • Understanding of safeguarding issues.
  • Teaching and mentoring experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong clinical governance and experience with audits.
  • Experience supervising and assessing students and shift leading (desirable).
