The Role: Freight Train Operator - LNE Region

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freight Train Operator to join our team in the LNE region. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating freight trains, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and operational procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate freight trains according to established schedules and routes.
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo at designated terminals.
  • Maintain accurate records of train movements, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
  • Conduct routine inspections of locomotives and rolling stock to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, crew members, and other personnel involved in rail operations.
