The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering strategic IT development projects that promote ongoing business growth, while ensuring effective and efficient operation of the group IT environment.
Key Responsibilities- Proactive development of IT based processes
- Development of group business continuity planning and testing
- Account management of third-party IT support providers
- On-site liaison with third-party IT support for day-to-day issues
- Supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure
- Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals
- Managing IT budgets, forecast, handling cash flow and enforcing cost-effectiveness
- Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes
- Assessing and purchasing new and replacement hardware
- Ensuring IT compliance with current laws, codes, and regulations
- Testing, troubleshooting, and adjusting information systems to operate effectively
- Creating and implementing IT policies and procedures
- Communicating with the management team on IT-related issues
- Ensuring security of data, network access, and backup systems
- Managing IT licensing requirements
- Directing, coaching, and supporting IT technicians in daily tasks or escalated troubleshooting
- User provisioning and hardware replacement/maintenance
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems
- Experience of MS SQL databases
- Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Strong overall understanding of on-premise virtualized, physical, and networking infrastructure
