Residential Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care NMR. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with various needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to service users, including behavioral support, mental health, non-verbal communication, and learning difficulties.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Support clients in daily activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills (touchscreen devices, computers).
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Up-to-date medication, moving, and manual handling training.
  • Enhanced Adult and Child workforce DBS (update service).
