Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide emotional support and guidance to young people during challenging times
- Foster ambition and assist young people in achieving their goals and maximizing their potential
- Support young people in their educational pursuits and help them develop essential life skills
- Maintain accurate records and prepare written reports for planning meetings and reviews
- Empower young people to participate in decision-making about their lives and future
- Act as an advocate in meetings where the young person is the subject of discussion
- Encourage community engagement and participation in off-site activities
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old
- Full UK driving license preferable
- No prior experience necessary, only a commitment and passion for working with young people
- Attendance at a 2-week training program required
- Must have availability for sleep-in shifts
- Access to complete your NVQ Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce up to Level 5 after passing your 6 month probation
- Your birthday off
- Comprehensive induction and training provided
- 2-3 shifts per week on a full time basis for an excellent work/life balance
