About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Hampshire CAMHS Fareham & Gosport Community Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessments and interventions to children and young people with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Manage a caseload of children and young people with complex mental health needs, providing case management and lead professional services as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with families and carers, ensuring their needs are met and they are fully involved in the care planning process.
  • Lead in clinical areas, providing specialist knowledge and expertise to inform practice.
  • Supervise and support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain professional links with other care groups and professionals, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Work in partnership with other agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
