We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join our client's team in Gloucestershire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational safety and health, with experience in creating and implementing safety programs, conducting plant audits, and training employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety programs to reduce potential injuries and improve regulatory compliance.
- Conduct plant audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management.
- Train employees on safety procedures and protocols.
- Lead efforts to improve safety and environmental compliance for applicable programs.
- Work collaboratively with partners and leaders to identify root cause of incidents and develop corrective actions.
- Stay current with safety and environmental regulations and attend required training to maintain certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Health, or Environmental field or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in occupational safety and health in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and resolve complex safety and environmental issues.
