About the Role

Buckinghamshire Mind, an independent charity affiliated with national Mind, is seeking a Head of Income Generation and Communications to join their Senior Management Team. This pivotal role will contribute to the strategic direction and operational management of the charity, with a focus on income generation and communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive fundraising strategy to diversify and generate income for Buckinghamshire Mind and Mind in Berkshire.
  • Oversee the delivery of the communications strategy, including external communications, digital marketing, and public relations.
  • Lead a small team in implementing new initiatives to expand the charity's portfolios of mental health services.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to achieve the charity's mission of 'a mentally healthy society.'

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in leading and delivering on income generation and associated activities, such as fundraising, corporate engagement, marketing, networking, and relationship management.
  • Proven experience in leading on external communications, including digital marketing and public relations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community groups.
