Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Finance Manager to join our finance team at IN2 Consult. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in inventory oversight and financial system implementation.

The Finance Manager will be tasked with overseeing the financial elements of inventory management, ensuring precision and efficiency in stock control operations. This role includes leading the adoption of new financial systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, as well as managing the month-end closing process to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting.


Key Duties:
  • Manage the financial aspects of inventory, ensuring precise and timely tracking of stock levels, costs, and valuations.
  • Establish and uphold effective inventory control policies and procedures to reduce losses, optimize stock levels, and enhance cash flow.
  • Work collaboratively with supply chain, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure the seamless integration of stock control systems with financial reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports on inventory performance, including turnover rates, stock aging, and the financial implications of stock movements.
  • Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial data is accurately captured.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure all accounts are reconciled, investigate discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Guide the implementation of new financial systems and processes related to inventory management, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new systems and processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to inventory management, ensuring alignment with overall financial objectives.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget, analyze variances, and recommend strategies to effectively manage inventory costs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role focused on inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and processes, with experience in system implementation and process enhancement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
