About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily living support, including cooking meals, cleaning, and medication administration
  • Assist with off-site activities, such as cinema, bowling, swimming, and appointments
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of the individuals you support
  • Help individuals plan and achieve their short- and long-term goals
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving license
  • Ability to work on a shift rota basis, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues
  • Compassion, empathy, and understanding of the needs of individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities
