Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager to join our team at 2000 SPTS Technologies Limited. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive growth and develop the UK supply chain for KLA.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in strategic procurement, with experience in leading teams and developing procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Initiate, develop and lead new supplier relationships to develop supply chain capacity and capability.
  • Oversee the first article procurement process, from identifying potential suppliers to leading the initial part delivery and production ramp.
  • Collaborate closely with the operational purchasing function to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.
  • Drive part cost down annually, without compromising quality or delivery, to grow Gross Margin.
  • Monitor market trends and perform analysis to make informed procurement decisions and ensure adverse cost variance is mitigated due to changes in the macro-economic and political landscape.
  • Ensure supply chain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a Senior strategic procurement role with management of people in a technical engineering context.
  • Evidence of strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent understanding of procurement processes and market dynamics.
