Job Title: Capable Daily Caretaker/Maintenance Person

We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Caretaker/Maintenance person to join our team at Katherine Shields Private Staff Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the general upkeep of a large estate near Henley-on-Thames.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out general house maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Be part of a team, collaborating with others to achieve common goals.
  • Perform a range of tasks, including feeding the family dogs, running errands, and maintaining the estate's grounds.
  • Drive a company-provided vehicle.
Requirements:
  • Essential driving skills and a valid driver's license.
  • Real knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Discreet and professional attitude.
  • Flexibility and willingness to help with a range of tasks.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary, negotiable between 50k-55k gross per annum, depending on experience.
  • A 5-day working week, with 40-45 hours per week.
