Job Description

Manpower UK is seeking an experienced Caretaker to support the day-to-day running of an established school in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy environment, ensuring the provision of an efficient and effective site facilities service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property maintenance and upkeep
  • Setting up events and ensuring a tidy appearance of the school
  • Assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of premises, furnishings, and grounds
  • Providing routine preventative maintenance and ensuring a sound knowledge of security and emergency procedures

Requirements:

  • Good maintenance skills and experience of providing routine preventative maintenance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to young people, parents, colleagues, and external agencies
