We are seeking an experienced and motivated Adult Social Worker to join our team at Rochdale Council. As a key member of our social care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centred social work services to adults in need, ensuring their well-being and safety.
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals, voluntary sector organisations, and other agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to improve service outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, using both manual and electronic systems.
- Hold a relevant qualification in social work, such as a degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Have a strong understanding of adult social care policies and procedures.
- Be able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of service users.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
- Be proficient in the use of ICT systems, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- A competitive salary of up to £40,578.
