About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Adult Social Worker to join our team at Rochdale Council. As a key member of our adult care service, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan support for adults with complex needs, working collaboratively with other agencies and professionals.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for service users.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring they are effective and meet the needs of service users.
  • Participate in multi-agency working, building strong relationships with other professionals and agencies.

Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers, and service users.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and proof of essential qualifications.
