Commercial Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, track, and report on financial and cost management aspects of assigned projects and work portfolios.
  • Assist project teams to ensure adherence to contract and corporate governance standards.
  • The Commercial Manager will spearhead the financial review and assessment of contractor payment requests in line with contractual obligations.
  • Provide proactive insights and guidance on all modifications, including proposed changes in scope.
  • Draft relevant commercial correspondence and contractual notifications for distribution in accordance with contractual stipulations.
  • Administer contracts using both industry-standard and customized contract forms, including NEC and ICC terms.
  • Ensure proper retention and archiving of commercial records.
  • Facilitate the settlement of final accounts.
  • Assist in the pre-contract procurement process for suppliers, main contractors, and consultants for various projects and programs.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in construction commercial management.
  • Experience in Rail, Infrastructure, or Construction sectors.
  • Preferably possess NEC Contract experience.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborative mindset towards both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
