Position Summary: We are excited to present a permanent opportunity for a Commercial Operations Manager to become an integral part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the local commercial team, enhancing both team dynamics and individual capabilities.
  • Engage in negotiations with clients regarding contract stipulations, project valuations, and final account resolutions.
  • Participate in contract evaluations, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of cost forecasts provided by project teams.
  • Support the Commercial Director in the formulation and revision of strategic business plans and local financial reports.
  • Oversee and assess the commercial outcomes of various projects, providing guidance to project commercial personnel.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive commercial strategies, ensuring all contractual obligations and associated risks are clearly communicated and understood.
  • Ensure timely receipt of payments in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Manage the ongoing commercial elements of subcontract agreements, including the negotiation of terms and conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in managing the commercial performance of projects, preferably within a major mechanical and electrical contracting or construction environment.
  • Desirable: English and Mathematics GCSE.
