Position Overview:As a Commercial Insurance Specialist at Protect Commercial Insurance Solutions Ltd., you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients. You will leverage your industry expertise and strong relationship-building skills to provide clients with the best insurance solutions tailored to their unique business needs. This role requires a proactive approach to client service, risk assessment, and policy management.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Management:
- Daily management and conversion of supplied leads into request for quote (RFQ) through to policy inception, and or renewal of existing policies to meet agreed targets.
- Conduct thorough demands and needs assessments to understand clients' business operations and insurance requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and introducers.
- Introducer Relationship Management:
- Through day-to-day interactions, you will be expected to develop and build strong relationships with our active introducer base, satisfying their needs for existing clients and generating additional referral opportunities.
- Policy Development & Negotiation:
- Research and analyse various insurance products and policies from an approved panel of insurers to recommend the best options to clients.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums with providers and underwriters on behalf of clients.
- Customise insurance programs to suit individual client needs, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Risk Assessment & Management:
- Evaluate clients' risk exposure and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Provide clients with expert advice on risk management and loss prevention.
- Regularly review and update clients' insurance programs to ensure continued relevance and adequacy.
- Customer Service & Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist clients with the claims process, ensuring efficient and fair resolution.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, exceeding clients' expectations.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all insurance transactions comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, policies, and transactions.
- Ensure all regulatory training is in timely manner.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and the insurance market.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills with a track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess complex risk profiles and develop appropriate insurance solutions.
- Proficiency in using insurance brokerage management software and Microsoft office suite.
- Qualified or working towards relevant industry certifications (e.g., Chartered Insurance Broker, CII) is desirable but not essential.
