Role Purpose

Vodafone's commitment to sustainability is a key driver of our business strategy, and we are seeking an experienced professional to lead our ESG transformation efforts. As a key member of our Sustainable Business team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our ESG strategy and processes are aligned with regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business functions and markets globally to achieve compliance with ESG regulations, including the CSRD.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to close gaps in ESG reporting and compliance, working closely with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Manage external advisors and contractors to determine critical priorities for ESG alignment and timeline for delivery.
  • Establish and maintain performance management programs to monitor and report on ESG targets and glidepaths.
  • Produce regular management reporting on ESG compliance and risk.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in ESG strategy design and implementation, including developing KPIs.
  • Advanced project management skills to steer ESG strategies across multi-functional workstreams.
  • Experience in change management in a multi-national and cultural environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to engage, manage, and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience of designing and implementing compliance or ESG strategies.
