About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Business Partner to join our team at Screwfix. As a Pricing Business Partner, you will play a critical role in formulating and implementing a competitive pricing strategy that drives growth and maintains customer perception while protecting margin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Trading and Category teams to formulate and implement pricing strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide analytical support to inform pricing decisions, including data analysis and market research.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to ensure Screwfix remains competitive.
  • Develop and maintain pricing tools and systems to support pricing decisions and ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide training and support to category teams on pricing tools and systems.
  • Support projects and ad-hoc work related to pricing analysis and insight.
  • Validate price benchmarking and provide recommendations to inform pricing decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to handle large datasets.
  • Excellent Excel skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Commercially innovative and able to think beyond the obvious.
  • Natural networker and collaborator with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to present findings and insights in a structured manner.
  • Financial reporting and understanding of net margin.
