Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teachers with their lessons and working alongside a team of support staff in the class.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teachers with their lessons and provide additional support to students as needed
  • Work alongside a team of support staff in the class to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, teachers, and other support staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of lesson plans and educational programs

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential
  • Excellent team spirit and good behaviour management skills
  • Passion for teaching and a strong command of the curriculum
  • Up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
