About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Assistant to join our Independent Supported Living team. As a Care Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing bespoke round-the-clock care to autistic and/or neurodivergent young people and adults in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with personal and household tasks, including meal preparation and shopping
  • Accompany individuals on outings and holidays, and assist with accessing medical appointments
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure high-quality care and support
Requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassion, empathy, and understanding of the needs of autistic and/or neurodivergent individuals
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in health and social care
