About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our catering operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers.
  • Create visually appealing food and counter displays that showcase our menu offerings.
  • Represent Chartwells - Schools and maintain a positive brand image through excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Handle cash and operate the cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
  • Enthusiastic and can-do attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Excellent team player with a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong timekeeping and reliability skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Experience in a similar catering-related role is desirable but not essential.
