We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Change Grow Live in Reading. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with individuals facing complex challenges, including substance use, mental health issues, and rough sleeping.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver psychosocial interventions to reduce disengagement and harm
- Collaborate with individuals to facilitate social reintegration, empowering them to lead meaningful lives
- Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning, as well as onward referral
- Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community
- Promote carer, service user, and community involvement
- Provide advocacy for access to partnership services
- Support social reintegration, enabling individuals to lead meaningful and purposeful lives
- Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working in a similar field
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Proactive and able to work independently with excellent time management and prioritizing skills
- Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
- Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage change successfully and prioritize service user needs
- Understanding of information governance processes and commitment to follow necessary safeguards
- 25 days holiday (rising by 1 day for first 5 years' service) + bank holidays
