About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Change Grow Live in Reading. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with individuals facing complex challenges, including substance use, mental health issues, and rough sleeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver psychosocial interventions to reduce disengagement and harm
  • Collaborate with individuals to facilitate social reintegration, empowering them to lead meaningful lives
  • Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning, as well as onward referral
  • Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community
  • Promote carer, service user, and community involvement
  • Provide advocacy for access to partnership services
  • Support social reintegration, enabling individuals to lead meaningful and purposeful lives
About You
  • Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working in a similar field
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently with excellent time management and prioritizing skills
  • Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
  • Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage change successfully and prioritize service user needs
  • Understanding of information governance processes and commitment to follow necessary safeguards
