Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our Senior Food Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting, developing, and coaching our chefs within the South West region of the UK. You will also guide our operations teams on our brand pillars and food ethos across our diverse business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and Develop Chefs
    • Coach and mentor our chefs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional food and service.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of our chefs.
  • Guide Operations Teams
    • Work closely with our operations teams to ensure they understand our brand pillars and food ethos.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure our operations teams are delivering exceptional food and service.
  • Drive Food Sales and Operational Delivery
    • Work closely with our Regional Operations Director to drive food sales and operational delivery within the region.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase food sales and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead New Sales Tenders and Mobilisations
    • Lead new sales tenders and mobilisations to ensure we are delivering exceptional food and service to our clients.
    • Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies to win new business.
  • Develop the Food Offer
    • Develop and implement strategies to maintain our position as a market leader in food innovation and quality.
    • Work closely with our culinary team to develop new menu ideas and concepts.

Requirements

  • Desirable Experience
    • Extensive experience within the contract catering industry.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of local food trends and culinary techniques.
    • Able to demonstrate the highest level of food quality.
  • Candidate Profile
    • Someone with a desire and passion to cook with fresh quality ingredients sourced from local producers.
    • A leader who will train, nurture, and develop future talent within the business.
