Job Title: Technology Resilience Lead

At Primark, we're seeking a highly skilled Technology Resilience Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Technology function, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the robustness, reliability, and recoverability of our infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive resilience strategy to ensure our systems can withstand and recover from disruptions, minimizing operational risks.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and management of a robust technology recovery capability, including IT disaster recovery for physical failures and logical data failures.
  • Lead the technology recovery incident response team in the event of a technology disaster, coordinating efforts across multiple regions, teams, and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and managed service partners to assure and enhance resilience capabilities.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience working at mid to senior level within technology resilience, disaster recovery, and IT operations roles.
  • Significant knowledge of technology infrastructure, architecture, and cloud computing.
  • Experienced in IT Service Delivery (gained from working in ITIL environments), technology business alignment, and technology transformation programs.
  • Ability to take an end-to-end view across technology architecture, technology operations, and IT service delivery and apply it to relevant business contexts.
