KIKIT Pathways to Recovery CIC is a leading provider of culturally sensitive and effective support services for individuals from diverse backgrounds who are on their journey to recovery from addiction. As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will be part of a team that is passionate about fostering positive change and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personalized Support: Provide one-on-one support to individuals from the point of entry into our service, throughout their treatment, and as they transition into recovery.
  • Psychosocial Interventions: Deliver tailored psychosocial interventions that address the unique needs of our service users within the community.
  • Outreach and Engagement: Conduct proactive outreach across the community to engage with and register vulnerable individuals from hard-to-reach populations.
  • Follow-up and Retention: Proactively follow up with service users who miss appointments to re-engage them in their recovery process.
  • Social Reintegration: Support service users in their journey towards social reintegration, helping them to build a meaningful, purposeful life post-recovery.
  • Substance Misuse Expertise: Have a strong understanding of complex substance misuse and homelessness issues, with experience working in a similar field.
  • Excellent Communication: Be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Mental Health Knowledge: Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: Be flexible and able to manage change successfully.
Requirements
  • Minimum of NVQ/BTEC Level 3 in Health or Social Care, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in using IT and Microsoft Office Packages.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Health & Social Care sector (preferred).
  • NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (required).
