Job Title: Marketing and Communications Specialist

Location: Remote (Hybrid Working)

Reports to: Global Head of Sales & Marketing

Company Overview: Vanda Research provides tactical macro research and positioning data to the financial services community. Vanda has become the market leader in its area through direct sales, word of mouth, etc. and is now looking to expand its brand presence by bringing on board a Marketing Specialist. This pivotal role is integral to our ambitious growth plans and will report directly to the Global Head of Sales & Marketing.

Job Description: As our Marketing Specialist, you will be the driving force behind increasing inbound sales leads (and, by extension, revenue) through strategic engagement, innovative design and captivating campaigns, driving brand awareness. You will own and foster relationships with leading institutions such as the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and Business Insider, among others. You will spearhead competitive intelligence initiatives to ensure that Vanda stays ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will cover a wide range of duties, including but not limited to the following:

  • Lead and expand Vanda's presence across various platforms, top-tier news agencies and data vendors.
  • Craft, execute and refine campaigns to increase engagement and drive conversions.
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve future marketing efforts.
  • Integrate marketing campaigns with Vanda's CRM system.
  • Partner with sales to optimise outreach and cleanup unresponsive or bounced recipients, an important driver of new sales.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and engagement, including new vendors.
  • Collect competitive intelligence on adjacent providers and present periodically to senior management.
  • Monthly incorporation of marketing results into board decks.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing and engagement.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
