Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conference Chair and Independent Reviewing Officer to join our team at Hoop Social Work. As a key member of our Reviewing Service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of looked-after children and young people.

Main Responsibilities
  • Chairing Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Children Review Meetings
  • Developing Outcome-Focused Plans in Accordance with Relevant Legislation
  • Providing Quality Assurance and Monitoring Services Across Children's and Young People's Services
  • Offering Consultation and Expertise to Partner Agencies on Practice Issues
Requirements
  • Degree or Equivalent in Social Work
  • Current Social Care Wales Registration
  • Significant Experience as an Independent Reviewing Officer and Signs of Safety Expertise

This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate and hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site three days a week, with mandatory attendance on Wednesdays for team meetings.
