Purpose of the Post:
Key Responsibilities:
1. To chair reviews of looked-after children and children placed for adoption, ensuring compliance with the Adoption and Children Act 2002 and other statutory regulations.
2. To chair initial and review child protection case conferences, adhering to the All Wales Child Protection procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
The post holder is responsible for:
Conducting thorough reviews of looked-after children and children placed for adoption.
Chairing child protection case conferences to ensure effective decision-making.
Maintaining accurate records and reports.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve departmental goals.
Staying up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
