Job Opportunity
DS Recruiting Services is seeking a skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at an operational Biomass energy plant near Sheffield.


This is a permanent opportunity that will suit someone with experience in the biomass industry or a strong interest in sustainable energy.

Candidates with a background in energy from waste or other energy production environments will also be considered.

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will report to the Plant Manager and be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions

Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in health and safety
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
