We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to support the Compliance team in delivering strategic and tactical enhancements of the Group Compliance function. The successful candidate will ensure that both internal and external business-as-usual (BAU) compliance requirements are met, while working collaboratively with the team to ensure the effective operations of NFP, an Aon company (Europe).
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the Compliance Division: Provide expert advice on regulations and compliance issues to the business, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Support Training and Competence: Assist in implementing, monitoring, and administering our training and competence scheme, including adviser development and administration.
- Research and Diligence: Conduct thorough research and diligence as required by the team, staying up-to-date with current compliance requirements in the financial services sector.
- Complaint Resolution: Support in resolving and responding to complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key stakeholders across all business lines, developing knowledge of their business aims, strategies, and challenges.
- Administrative Support: Provide general support and administration duties for the Compliance Division, ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements:
- Compliance Experience: Demonstrable experience in compliance roles or similar within the financial services sector, with a strong understanding of FCA regulations.
- Integrity and Ethics: High degree of integrity with high ethical standards, ensuring a culture of compliance within the organization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
Working Arrangements:
- Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Location: Bromsgrove, with a hybrid working arrangement.
