Role Overview:


The Project Controller is tasked with achieving key objectives by effectively managing project planning within their designated sector or team.

This position requires close collaboration with diverse teams to develop, implement, and oversee the Primavera Integrated Plan Network. Moreover, the Project Controller is responsible for upholding and enforcing the organization’s standards for Planning and Scheduling.

What will your responsibilities include as a Project Controller?

Assess ongoing progress and performance, comparing them against contractual and internal benchmarks to identify discrepancies and their root causes.
Generate comprehensive reports and propose actions to sustain or improve progress.

Develop and maintain the overall project schedule for the sector or project, ensuring adherence to company standards and its ongoing management.

Enhance the planning capabilities of the project team by providing guidance to members from engineering, production, and project management on best practices in planning and scheduling.

Consolidate all work package plans into a cohesive network that aligns with company standards, and oversee the deployment, management, and maintenance of the project's performance measurement baseline.

Assist work package teams in updating their plans on a monthly basis.
Create, distribute, and report on project schedule data as necessary, offering solutions for conflicts and recommending corrective measures.
Administer the Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology as required.
Lead the Project Critical Path Analysis process, ensuring it complies with company standards.

Build and sustain strong relationships with engineers and the broader team to effectively implement the organization’s project control standards, systems, and methods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project performance data.

What qualifications are we seeking in our next Project Controller?

Extensive expertise in Primavera P6, SAP PS, and standard industry software applications, particularly spreadsheets.

Strong communication skills, effective in collaborating within large, multidisciplinary teams across various areas, including engineering, finance, commercial, and project management.

A keen interest in working within a multicultural, pan-European environment.
Proven experience in commercial and financial management.
A proactive team player who can inspire others, assertive with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
