We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to play a pivotal role in the execution of our annual investment initiatives and contribute to our long-term asset management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities, on behalf of the organization.
  • Conduct cost analysis for investment-related projects.
  • Execute risk assessments, value engineering, and cost control evaluations.
  • Provide guidance on procurement methodologies.
  • Evaluate completed works, facilitate agreements, and manage payment processes.
  • Oversee all valuations associated with capital projects and collaborate with project leaders for reviews.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in numerical analysis and financial management.
  • Strong IT capabilities, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and cost management software.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards.
  • Insight into the construction sector, especially within the social housing domain.
  • A degree or an equivalent recognized qualification in cost estimation or quantity surveying.
