Job Title: Deputy Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team at CareTech UK. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing our Adult Residential Service and ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the day-to-day running of the service and support the manager
  • Ensure the service has sufficient support and resources
  • Offer sleep-in support and provide a high level of quality support to residents
  • Maintain accurate notes and records as required
  • Deliver positive and personalized outcomes for residents
  • Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and support
  • Recruit, manage, retain, and train staff
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with people with learning disabilities or mental health conditions
  • Relevant professional qualification (Level 3 Health & Social Care)
  • Understanding of and commitment to providing equal opportunities
  • Knowledge of current health and social care legislation, including the Mental Health Act
  • Demonstrable evidence of supporting people in a person-centered way
  • High level of literacy, numeracy, and administrative skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams
