About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team in Edinburgh Mental Health Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing emotional, practical, and social support to individuals affected by mental health problems, enabling them to live as independently as possible and make informed choices in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals, working collaboratively with them to identify and achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring a trauma-informed approach to support.
  • Administer medication to individuals, following training and guidance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each person.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the service, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive approach.
