Capital Risk Management Role

Zopa is seeking an experienced professional to provide oversight of capital, liquidity, and market risks. As part of our Risk function, you will work closely with Treasury and Finance to ensure that key risks to the Bank are addressed appropriately while maintaining an independent mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document the Bank's Capital, Liquidity, and Market Risk framework
  • Contribute to the development of the Bank's risk appetite and tolerance
  • Provide oversight on regulatory documents such as ICAAP and ILAAP
  • Review and assess Treasury and Finance reporting and interpretations
  • Monitor capital, liquidity, and market risk reporting and metrics
  • Stay informed of regulatory and business changes and their impact on risk
  • Oversight of process risks and controls, ensuring alignment with Bank's risk management framework

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Risk or Treasury management, preferably in a financial institution
  • Technical understanding of financial risks, including capital, liquidity, and market risks
  • Involvement in ICAAP and/or ILAAP development and implementation
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Analytical and intellectual capabilities, with ability to analyze complex risk data and metrics
