About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pastry Chef to join our award-winning kitchen team.

As a Senior Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating exquisite desserts and pastries using fresh and local ingredients.

You will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop new menu items and ensure that our culinary standards are consistently met.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solid knowledge of culinary terminology and techniques, as well as experience in a similar role.

You will also need to be qualified to SCQF Level 5 in patisserie or professional cookery and have basic knowledge in boulangerie.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Pastry Chef, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating exquisite desserts and pastries using fresh and local ingredients
  • Working closely with our Executive Chef to develop new menu items
  • Ensuring that our culinary standards are consistently met
  • Leading and mentoring junior pastry chefs
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
