This dynamic organization is committed to delivering exceptional repairs by utilizing cutting-edge techniques and state-of-the-art technology, all while ensuring outstanding customer service.


Our clients' 160 repair centers offer a comprehensive range of services, employing modern repair methods to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition, with a focus on quality and care.

They are currently seeking a skilled MET Stripper Fitter for their bodyshop in Leicester.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently plan your workload to meet agreed timelines for vehicle readiness
  • Perform tasks skillfully and safely under pressure
  • Execute work in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintain flexibility in your approach to tasks
  • Consistently uphold high standards with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.


While the ideal candidate will have MET experience in a bodyshop environment, applications from Level 3 qualified vehicle technicians seeking a career change will also be considered.


Requirements
As an experienced ATA MET, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing all necessary mechanical and bodywork on assigned jobs
  • Dismantling vehicles in preparation for the panel shop
  • Conducting inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic assessments
  • Ordering replacement parts as needed
  • Reassembling vehicles with new parts to restore them to pre-accident condition
