We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at James Fisher and Sons plc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of import and export documents to facilitate Inward Processing Relief record maintenance.
- Coordinate the shipping of goods to our extensive customer base, both nationally and internationally, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Oversee and coordinate the packing of goods in a safe and secure manner to ensure they arrive at their destination in good condition.
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, including Delivery Notes, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists, to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Arrange transportation as instructed and agreed by our Sales Order system, liaising with customers to meet their specific requirements and Incoterms.
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and other interested parties to ensure seamless coordination and timely updates.
- Adhere to all QHSE procedures relevant to your scope of work, ensuring a safe and controlled working environment.
- Ensure products are compliant with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards, as well as our company's Quality Management System, through a structured and controlled approach to working practices.
- Minimize waste and promote recycling wherever possible.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment by performing duties in a safe and controlled manner.
- Previous experience in a similar role and environment.
- Attention-to-detail and ability to work well under pressure.
