About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at RHL Recruitment. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for leading on mechanical repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment, as well as supporting the safe and smooth operation of our tank farms and hydrant system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on mechanical repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Support the safe and smooth operation of our tank farms and hydrant system
  • Participate in the company's asset integrity programme, including proactive inspection and maintenance of assets
  • Develop and implement methodologies for proactive inspection and maintenance of ageing and end-of-life assets
  • Provide technical guidance to the maintenance team to ensure effective delivery of maintenance tasks
  • Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance system
  • Support the maintenance team with planning, organisation and report writing skills
  • Lead small works on the plant, modifications or changes in equipment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in industrial process operation and construction, pipeline construction and operation, or pumping of fluids through complex pipework. You will also have a good practical understanding of tank farms, valves, rotating machinery and associated pipework.

Desirable qualifications include a Permit to Work experience and NVQ. A full driving license is also required.
