Our client, a leading joint venture between major oil companies and airlines, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team at Heathrow Airport.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead on mechanical repairs and maintenance of our plant and equipment. The successful candidate will participate in our asset integrity programme, inspecting assets and implementing repairs or replacements as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on mechanical repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Participate in asset integrity programme, inspecting assets and implementing repairs or replacements
  • Develop and implement methodologies to proactively inspect ageing and end-of-life assets
  • Provide technical guidance to maintenance team to effectively deliver maintenance tasks
  • Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance system (Weekly, Monthly, Six monthly and Annual inspections)
  • Provide technical knowledge and specifications for new and replacement equipment and assets
  • Support supervisor team with planning, organisation and report writing skills
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years Engineering Maintenance experience
  • Permit to work experience is desirable
  • Full Driving License

We offer a competitive salary of £46-50,000 + Overtime + Bonus + Private Healthcare. Full time, 40 hours per week. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday Days. There will be a requirement to work night shifts on maintenance projects and engineering, which will be paid as overtime.
