Mechanical Engineer

Our client, a leading joint venture between major oil companies and airlines, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team at Heathrow Airport.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead on mechanical repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial process operation and construction, pipeline construction and operation, or pumping of fluids through complex pipework.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead on mechanical repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment
- Participate in the company's asset integrity programme, inspecting assets and implementing repairs or replacements as necessary
- Develop and implement methodologies to proactively inspect ageing and end-of-life assets
- Provide technical guidance to the maintenance team to effectively deliver maintenance tasks
- Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance system (Weekly, Monthly, Six monthly and Annual inspections)
- Provide technical knowledge and specifications for new and replacement equipment and assets
- Minimum 4 years Engineering Maintenance experience
- Permit to work experience is desirable
- Full Driving License
