About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Village Hotels. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional level of service and that our hotel rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas of the hotel are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of cleaning standards throughout the hotel, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure that all areas of the hotel are working together to provide an exceptional guest experience.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a housekeeping or hotel operations role, with a strong background in leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures, with a strong understanding of the importance of providing an exceptional guest experience.
