About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Family Help team as an Intensive Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and support to children and their families, enabling them to thrive within their community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake targeted, evidence-based interventions with families, working alongside Social Workers and Family Practitioners to promote safety and well-being.
  • Deliver one-to-one and group interventions with children, young people, and parents/caregivers, promoting resilience and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting families.
  • Travel to various locations, including rural and urban areas, to provide support to families in need.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years' experience working directly with children and families.
  • NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject or equivalent experience providing services for children and young people, and their families.
  • Understanding of child development from birth to 19, including factors that impede overall development.
