Account Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Director to join our high-performing commercial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining client relationships, ensuring strong customer satisfaction, and delivering forecast budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic management of named existing customers, developing and executing strategic account plans
- Overseeing end-to-end relationships, maximising value, customer satisfaction, and retention levels
- Leading and motivating a matrix team to achieve high performance and meet deadlines
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients at all levels, understanding their needs, and managing expectations
- Identifying growth opportunities for upselling and expanding existing services and cross-selling new services
- Delivering revenue targets and budget expectations
- Securing favourable terms and working through issues and conflicts with customers
- Monitoring the health of customer relationships, using data and feedback to understand customer outcomes and engagement levels
- Reporting on customer insights and providing trends to internal and leadership teams
- Extensive knowledge of in-life management of customers with experience in an OJEU environment (ideally with experience in the utility vertical)
- Comfortable creating and presenting updates and solutions to the customer up to and including C-Suite and being the voice of the customer
- Strong focus on achieving customer outcomes and delivering value to clients and the organisation
- Demonstrated success in achieving targets and negotiating contracts
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers and internal teams to promote retention and loyalty
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively address and resolve escalated customer issues
- Ability to think strategically and develop long-term account strategies
- Ability to collaborate with business development, marketing, product, and service to ensure a unified customer experience
