Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer Production

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer Production to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our aircraft production processes and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Quality Reviews: Participate in quality reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program, and customer requirements to develop quality assurance strategies, plans, and tests for hardware and software products, processes, and services.
  2. Quality Cost Estimates: Develop quality cost estimates based on Statements of Work (SOW) assigned.
  3. Process Development: Develop and implement processes for determining, verifying, and meeting customer SOW requirements.
  4. Product Verification: Verify product conformity to design and compliance to customers' requirements.
  5. Process Maintenance: Participate in the maintenance of processes, procedures, and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
  6. Validation: Validate work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures.
  7. Discrepancy Identification: Identify and document discrepancies, segregate and control non-conforming items to prevent unintended use or delivery.
  8. Regulatory Compliance: Verify compliance to regulatory requirements.
  9. Corrective Action: Identify opportunities for corrective action while performing product or process verification.
  10. Auditing: Perform auditing, surveillance, and monitoring against the approved audit plan.
  11. Product Review: Conduct product review with customer during product or process verification.
  12. Analysis: Participate with stakeholders in the analysis process of unfavorable process data, customer complaints, and metric results, formulating mitigation plans.
  13. Design Reviews: Represent Quality in design reviews, ensuring routine verification of product conformance to design requirements.
Essential Competencies:
  1. Maintenance/Modification Experience: Maintenance/Modification experience in a civil or military environment.
  2. Part 21 Experience: Part 21 experience.
  3. Safety Management Systems Knowledge: Safety Management Systems knowledge and experience.
  4. Aviation Safety Policy Experience: Previous industry experience in the application of aviation safety policy.
  5. Safety Investigation Experience: Safety investigation and root cause corrective action experience within the aviation industry.
  6. Aviation Quality Management System Experience: Aviation Quality Management System (QMS) experience.
  7. Communication Skills: Ability to identify help needed and coordinate with the appropriate leaders and team members.
  8. Auditing Experience: Qualified Auditor with experience in auditing techniques.
  9. Statistical Data Compilation: Experience compiling and reporting statistical data.
