Production Extrusion Specialist

As a key member of the production team, you will report directly to the Team Leader and play a vital role in the manufacturing of sheets that meet specific customer requirements while adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Executing work tasks in alignment with the production schedule to minimize downtime.
  • Fabricating sheets in compliance with both company and customer quality standards, including aspects such as color, tolerance, and profile.
  • Optimizing line speed while ensuring the quality of the sheets produced.
  • Verifying that edge trims remain within predetermined parameters and acceptable limits.
  • Performing regular quality assurance checks and accurately documenting findings.
  • Completing production records with precision.

You will also be responsible for taking corrective measures for any products that do not meet specifications and following the proper protocols to inform the company.

  • Overseeing the activities of Extrusion Operatives and providing guidance to ensure that tasks are performed to the required standards.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A strong aptitude for technical tasks and a foundational understanding of the extrusion process, with comprehensive training provided.
  2. The capability to meet deadlines effectively.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  5. A solid awareness of current Health & Safety regulations.

Work Schedule

Shift Pattern: Continental shifts consisting of 4 days on, 2 days off, followed by 3 nights on, 2 days off, then 3 days on, 2 days off, 4 nights on, and 8 days off.

Average working hours will total 42 hours per week.

Day shift: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Night shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
